Eugene Ace

Prior to joining Birch Hill in 2011, Mr. Ace was an Associate Director in the Corporate Development group at BCE, where he was responsible for the evaluation and execution of acquisitions and strategic initiatives. Previously, Mr. Ace worked as a Research Associate at Veritas Investment Research providing analysis for equity research in the retail and consumer goods sectors.

Mr. Ace received his B.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Lisa Draper

Prior to joining Birch Hill in 2011, Ms. Draper was an Engagement Manager with Oliver Wyman Financial Services in New York, where she worked with clients in the Corporate and Institutional Banking group primarily on growth strategy and impact of markets regulation for both capital markets institutions and market regulators.

Ms. Draper received her HBA (with distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Ben A. Fash

Prior to joining Birch Hill in 2010, Mr. Fash was an Associate at Credit Suisse in Toronto, where he worked on a number of debt and equity financings as well as M&A assignments for Canadian and international clients. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Fash was an Analyst at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto, where he focused exclusively on M&A assignments. Mr. Fash also spent one year with Maple Leaf Foods as a Supply Chain Analyst in their Consumer Foods division.

Mr. Fash received his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Economics and a concentration in Legal Studies from Williams College in Massachusetts.

Igor Gimelshtein

Prior to joining Birch Hill in 2011, Mr. Gimelshtein was an Analyst at Union Square Advisors, where he was responsible for the evaluation and execution of mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions across the software, internet & digital media, and hardware sectors.

Mr. Gimelshtein received his HBA (Ivey Scholar) from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Nilesh Gonsalves

Prior to joining Birch Hill in 2012, Mr. Gonsalves was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in Toronto, where he worked on several M&A and financing transactions. Previously, Mr. Gonsalves was an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Genuity Capital Markets.

Mr. Gonsalves received his B. Comm (First Class Honours) from Queen’s University.

Neil McCarron

Prior to joining Birch Hill in 2011, Mr. McCarron was a Senior Consultant with Oliver Wyman in New York, where he principally worked in financial services, conducting M&A due diligences of mid-market U.S. retail banks and performing front-office optimizations for leading North American banks.

Mr. McCarron received his HBA (with distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

Michael Burnett, Analyst

Prior to joining Birch Hill upon graduation in 2011, Mr. Burnett was a Summer Analyst in the Global Capital Markets group of CIBC World Markets where he traded foreign exchange derivatives and structured transactions for corporations and financial institutions.

Mr. Burnett received his HBA (with distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.
